Essensys approached us to help create a product promotional video and user journey explainer video for their new Elumo product. Elumo is a revolutionary solution that converges dynamic booking and access control for commercial real estate. To bring Elumo to life on screen, we delivered a full video production package — combining live-action footage, 3D animated assets, 2D motion graphics, and motion typography into two imaginative and informative videos. With the brief defined, our team mapped out the project into phases:
Delivery and sign-off of the script, storyboard, voice over artist, and sound design. Site visit and tech demo.
Access CAD files, graphic assets, fonts, gradients, and explainer mock-ups. Deliver final storyboard and animation style frames. Create a shotlist and conduct casting calls.
Animation production of all agreed-upon assets from pre-production and filming live-action footage.
Deliver V1, voiceover recordings and gain feedback from Essensys for final deliverables.
We began by building a visual library of branded 3D elements and motion graphics that could be used across both videos and cutdowns. This consistent visual language allowed us to strike the right balance between promotional storytelling and product explanation, maintaining a tech-forward style that reflects Elumo’s innovative nature.
At the heart of the videos is a clear, narrative-driven structure. Through carefully planned live-action scenes, we showcased different end-user journeys in modern workspaces, aligning them closely with the voiceover to illustrate Elumo’s key features — from room booking via mobile, to smart access control, to real-time space insights.
To support this storytelling, we layered in 2D and 3D animation that made the functionality of the product easy to visualise. These animated elements weren’t just decorative — they played a crucial role in guiding the viewer through each interaction, helping to break down complex features into digestible, user-friendly moments.
The product video uses 3D animation and motion graphics to showcase the Elumo device in detail, providing a visual demonstration of the product for use on the Essensys website.
The user journey explainer video is the practical and detail-oriented counterpart to the product video, which uses a combination of narrative storytelling and motion graphics and typography, to guide the user through the process.
To go alongside the launch campaign, our team provided cutdown versions of each video to showcase across social media.
Designed to be concise and engaging, the social cutdowns help boost visibility, spark interest, and drive viewers to explore the full videos.
The result is a suite of videos that are as intuitive and seamless as the product itself. Just like Elumo, the content is built around clarity and ease of use, making it simple for viewers to understand how the system works and how it fits into their working day.
