We approached the pre-production with careful planning and attention to detail to ensure every angle had been covered. For the set build, we re-purposed our alpine lodge feel design, ensuring consistency with the previous year’s event. However, with a new venue and space to consider, we needed to measure up to ensure it would fit perfectly. To guarantee this and visualise it for the client, we mocked up the set in a 3D model and sourced all necessary furniture, adjusting the blueprint where needed to ensure all technical equipment was also mapped out accurately.
We worked closely with the client to meticulously plan every event throughout the week, supported by a dedicated project manager and a studio manager on-site for The Davos Daily Show. Over three full days, our team of 11, including project managers, technical directors, live streaming and audio engineers, camera producers and photographers, managed interviews, panel discussions, and a suite of additional events outside the studio. With so much happening in a short timeframe, we relied on detailed run of shows and tightly coordinated workflows to keep everything on schedule and deliver a seamless production.
To ensure the content was being shared in real-time, our team of editors were on-hand to deliver a quick turnaround of edited footage. This meant FT Live were able to share on-demand sessions and interviews for viewers who missed the live show, along with snippets of content to support marketing efforts around the events, creating a cohesive and constant stream of collateral.
