We’re proud to share that London Filmed is now a certified B Corp™, contributing to a global movement working to benefit people and the planet.
What does this mean for us?
B Corp certification means our business has been certified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, as having met rigorous social and environmental standards and corporate transparency and accountability. Ultimately, this certification represents our legal commitment to balance commercial success with creating a positive impact for all of our stakeholders. This includes our team, our clients, and the environment.
We were assessed using V6 of B Lab's B Impact Assessment, which evaluates a company across five key categories, each contributing points toward an overall score. Here are the five categories and the scores we achieved in each:

Assesses how the company is run, including its mission, ethics, transparency, and accountability to stakeholders. It looks at whether social and environmental purpose is embedded in decision-making and oversight.

Evaluates how a company supports and values its employees through fair pay, benefits, wellbeing, career development, and inclusive workplace practices.

Measures the company’s impact on the communities it operates in, including diversity and inclusion, local economic development, ethical supply chains, and contributions to society.

Examines how the company manages its environmental footprint, including energy use, emissions, resource management, waste, and environmental stewardship.

Looks at whether the company’s products or services create positive outcomes for customers and society, including responsible marketing, data protection, and impact-driven offerings.
We’ve always wanted to create a valuable working culture at London Filmed, which over the years has led us to introduce a suite of benefits and policies to support our team and improve our environmental impact. Going through the B Corp process has provided a framework to further develop and expand our strategy beyond sustainability. We now have policies and processes in place covering the whole gamut of the certification – from governance structures, fair work, and human rights, to climate action, and social and environmental impact. Through our business practices, we are proud to contribute to an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy that serves both people and the planet.

Becoming a certified B Corp has set a benchmark from which we can continually improve. We are proud of our initial score of 86.3, but will spend the next three years, ahead of recertification, asking ourselves what we can do to create more impact, be a leader in our industry, and a valuable member of the B Corp community.
