  • Overview: 

We were approached by The PHA Group to help produce a press conference for their client, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). 

The main objective of RICS was to reach as many members as possible and facilitate a moderated Q&A from members as well as from 10 journalists who tuned in to ask questions live at the event.

  • Challenges:

  • Short timeline – we had 1 week for the event build
  • Facilitating 10 journalists in a quick fire Q&A with no time to brief pre-event
  • Overcoming company firewalls from RICS’ global audience
  • Solutions:

  • We pulled in additional resources to get the event assets and the project built in time
  • We ran 10 minute briefs for all of the journalists before we went live
  • We simulcasted to slido as well as the RICS YouTube channel to increase accessibility and ease of access for viewing
  • Result:

“The PHA group approached us wanting help with a virtual press conference for their client Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. It was a high profile public event discussing the findings of an independent review by Alison Levitt. It was important to make the event as accessible as possible whilst also ensuring all members had an opportunity to field questions, so we simulcasted the event out via Slido and the RICS Youtube channel. We also facilitated a live Q&A with pre-selected journalists from national press associations and live questions from some of its members. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and agency were incredibly happy with the final result and most of all with helping them reach over 5,000 of their members worldwide, their biggest audience ever.”
